The Friends of the Northern Cambria Public Library meets at 7:00 PM on the 4th Monday of each month at the library. The group is planning many activities and several members will attend a conference sponsored by Pennsylvania Citizens for Better Libraries (PCBL).
The Friends group has become a vital part of the Northern Cambria Public Library. They have had new carpet installed in the Children's Department and are now helping finance the beginning of the upstairs renovation in the library.
The group sponsors several annual fund raising projects:
The Annual Book Sale is held the Saturday and Sunday following the 4th of July as part of the town-wide Celebration.
Our Annual Golf Tournament in July has become our largest project.
An Octoberfest brings many vendors together along with prizes, Chinese Auction, and food for all interested patrons.
