DISTRICT LIBRARIES

Most public libraries in Pennsylvania belong to a district and have a District Consultant who acts as their liaison to the Pennsylvania State Library. The libraries in Cambria County belong to the Johnstown District, which includes Cambria, Indiana and Somerset Counties. The Cambria County Library acts as the headquarters for the Johnstown District.

The Cambria County Library maintains professional materials for use by District members. Library directors may borrow items both from the professional collection and from the book discussion kit collection by contacting the District Consultant.
